… going well. Train a little again this week and then relax next week and let the air get into shape.
Bike training works so far, even in cold temperatures. I usually proceed as follows, when the roads are clear, then if possible racing bike. However, if the roads are not clear or the temperatures are far below or strong winds, then on the Crosser and into the forest. Because you are protected from the wind in the forest, it is also a little warmer there. Unless the sun is shining again, you are much better served on the plain / road where it shines than in the forest. Because she usually never really gets through there.
In the cold I would also not ride big mountains, because you cool down relatively quickly with the descents and the constant sweating on the mountain / cooling off on the descent is suboptimal. A moderate pace is good all the time. Then you stay warm. If you are cold, then build in a small sprint series. Also promotes speed / quick strength.
Thundering a 10sec sprint on the asphalt every 1min for 10min. The 50 seconds in between relax and recover. After the third sprint at the latest, you will be warm again, including your hands and feet 😉
sunny greetings
