Here is the second part of the interview with Steffen.
He talks about his trip to Ironman Florida, where he wanted to qualify as a professional for the Ironman Hawaii. He describes how he rented a van there “like a pro” for eight weeks and slept in it EVERY night for the entire EIGHT weeks! Then, when he wasn't sleeping in his van, he worked out all day. What else should he do during the day, after all, he had flown over to Florida completely alone? 😉
On the evening before the competition, he even parked his car almost directly at the finish line and was therefore able to sleep until shortly before the start, while everyone else had to be transported there from their “race hotels” at the very early morning.
An operation on his ankle is coming up soon, which he described to me in almost too much detail. Hopefully he'll be the same again soon after that. Above all, I wish him that he will get well again soon!
Have fun watching!
skin in!
krelli
boa, bad thing and I hope it turns out well. You don't want anything like that.
Many greetings and get well soon from Nuremberg.
Oh man that poor guy! But what is admirable is that he takes this whole story so calmly and has not forgotten how to laugh. I wish you all the best in this way and always keep your ears stiff.
Have a good time and continue to taste the Upper Franconian beer.
Greetings from within Germany 😉
