Part 2 and 3 can now also be enlarged without any problems!
here is my blog on tri-mag.de:

This time I put in my training diary from the IM South Africa preparation, in my opinion my best preparation for a long distance ever. I also write about my personal experiences and what my training for IMs has taught me in recent years.
The colors indicate the intensities. The order on the schedule does not necessarily have to be the order of the training day. Units with a thick frame are coupling units.

Perhaps one should also note that I was in Lanzarote for 2 weeks in March to train. The coupling units S / B / R would otherwise have been difficult to implement here 😉
It's great that you publish your training records - very few deal with them that openly. Unfortunately, not all of them can be enlarged (part 2,3).
By the way, I find it very interesting to be able to look into the cards of a relatively successful hobby triathlete - keep it up!
oh thanks for the tip, I didn't even notice that the second and third parts don't open. I will change it tomorrow and send an update!
so the remaining parts can now also be enlarged 🙂
Hi Krelli,
after taking a closer look at your plans I noticed one thing:
The increase in the weekly workload within a micro cycle is not found in your plans.
Why is that? About the fact that you train when you have the time and not when your training plan dictates it?
Hi,
well observed 🙂
Mostly it's because I train a lot when I have more time, as you rightly noticed. In terms of work, things are no different from time to time, which is also reflected in the plans. Sometimes it is also because I am too energetic in the first week and then run out of breath in the following weeks ... It happened to me especially at the beginning. By and large, in the preparatory phase at that time, I trained as much as I could without any problems. Sometimes too much 😉
In general, however, I also think that you should make a decent increase if you have enough time. Working people should rather choose a "standard week" and vary this depending on the intensity.
