In the picture above you can see my training log from January. As expected, the bike part is small, but I was able to force swimming and running a little. In the middle of the month I had to take a little rest a week earlier than expected. When you start training, this is not surprising or tragic.
The body first has to get used to the regular training stimuli and process them. Maybe I have the first week of January with 28h. A little too much trained for the beginning 🙂 Fortunately, after the week of rest, things got better again. Yesterday at the end of the day I was so exhausted that I need a full day of rest today. I still have to hold out for a week before the next rest period comes.
Not last weekend, as some assumed, but the next one I'm going to see Steffen. I will then surely garantiert exceed my last two weekly workload again and then be comatose into the resting phase on Monday.
January: 89.5 hours
47km swim
376km run
817km cycling

Hi Michael,
So with the training performance in January, not only is Steffen a hot candidate for an Ironman title, but you should also be right at the front 😉 Keep it up, I'll try to get half or 2/3 of these amounts ...
Greetings from Ratzeburg
Hey Tobi,
well, I don't have to run a training camp on the side either 🙂 sometimes there is more time to train.
Maybe it was a bit too much, I was so exhausted on Sunday. Regardless, I follow your development and I am happy to see that a lot is changing and improving. Keep it up!
We'll probably see you in Roth at the starting line 😉
many greetings to Ratzeburg
Michael
