Above, the training for the last two weeks. Due to the long cross-country skiing over the holidays and Christmas time, I got problems in the extensor tendon on the instep at the beginning of the first week. This often occurs when the cross-country or ski boots are laced too tight, as I was told in retrospect. Therefore, take a short break and tied your shoelaces very loosely while running. After a week the symptoms disappeared completely.
On Saturday I went to Tenerife and although I was on the road as a trainer, I was still able to cycle, swim and run more often. A total of four short bike tours, one up the Teide. Swimming was popular almost every day and if you could run, it was rather short. Due to the rather hilly beach promenades, it is relatively difficult to get clean basic runs. The situation is similar with the island profile with regard to cycling.
However, the swimming conditions in the huge T3-50m outdoor pool were phenomenal!
It was fun and I came back tanned 🙂

PS: now I'll try to post the videos from the T3 swimming channel next day.
On the subject of too tightly laced shoes; I only warmly recommend LockLaces to you, since I use them I have no more problems.
thanks for the tip Alex!
