In terms of training, I wanted to really accelerate again, a so-called monster week, which ultimately only partially worked. More was not possible professionally either. But as long as the intensities are right, that is the most important thing in the final weeks of preparation, I am always satisfied. Only the long run was a bit tough at the end due to the warmth, but you also get used to it.
The second, the competition weight, also worked wonderfully. Just don't go shopping for a week, just live on the bio box and the rest in the pantry, a tight schedule, and 4 kg are off. Perhaps the training also destroyed a few grams.
The competition in Nuremberg is on Sunday, sprint distance around the old town. But take it out on Saturday and not be knocked out at the start 🙂
