As the title suggests, between the two training camps, swimming and running are my main focus. At the same time, of course, the most pleasant training in terms of February. Cycling automatically becomes more important as the days get longer and the temperatures rise. Therefore, of course, it always makes sense in winter to work more on the other two disciplines.
The goal for me was to have about 100km running and 20km swimming at the end of the week. Especially when running you have to be particularly careful with such an increase from about 40-50km / week. Often the knee or the Achilles tendon speaks out. It is essential to react sensitively here and, if necessary, change the goal for the week. In addition, it is never wrong to lose a few kg before running larger, which relieves the joints and tendons.
So far everything went well and had a lot of fun!
