Training last week

This was the fourth week of training in a row. I usually put in a week of rest after three weeks, just not this time. My girlfriend was gone for a week so I kept working out. When else do you have the opportunity to leave everything lying around and not have to clean anything 😉

On Friday and Saturday I went to a team event with my work colleagues. We do this regularly to strengthen team spirit. The necessary climbing, abseiling and hiking on Friday, however, are left out of the training plan. What I did anyway was to cycle to Franconian Switzerland early on (it took place there). Since I started at 6:45 am, I was luckily in front of my colleagues at the hotel and after my early ride at -2 degrees, I was able to take a hot shower for 20 minutes! 🙂

After a sleepy night, we went back home on Saturday afternoon when the temperature was more pleasant. On Sunday I was completely exhausted and let the long run be, because the unit would not have made any sense. Here I always stick to the credo of my former training partner Gregor, "Training will not be made up!"
This week is therefore calmer and dedicated to relaxation.

Excel training table
I often get inquiries about my tabular form. Just write to me and I'll email it to you: mkrell (at) gmx.de

But you can also easily recreate them. The average for cycling is calculated:
Total kilometers / time in minutes * 60

And while running:
Time in minutes / total kilometers
At the second step the calculated decimal places the number you get out (e.g. 0.57)
take * 60 again, then you have the exact time per kilometer.

+++++ addendum
ok, i have it, thank you Didi. When calculating the running time, the second step is not necessary if you just always use the correct number format (user-defined: hh: mm: ss).

A nice start into the week!
