Last week from Wednesday again onset of winter, somehow I didn't feel like doing rollers and MTB anymore, so I ran and swam. From the weekend things started to pick up and the temperatures were up again.
While swimming I was now able to swim 34 times on the 50m, which makes me quite optimistic that things will slowly start again after the long break in the training camp.
On Sunday evening a little test run on my home route up to Diepersdorf and back again. Most of the time, I run the first 7 kilometers there very relaxed and then increase the pace on the way back, but without really pushing. Getting the feel for it is important because you are still aerobic then. If you hold in too much and "push" then you can quickly become anaerobic. On the way back, I was able to walk continuously under 4 minutes, so it suits the time of year.
