The penultimate week of basics is over. Then the serious training for Roth begins.
This week I've been on the time trial bike at least twice to slowly get used to the position.
As I run, I notice that something is going on here. Whereby I tend to run in the forest and with emphasis on strength and hills. Running is also the discipline where you should be most sensitive. Nowhere else can the general form of competition be pulled up as quickly as by running.
Otherwise I'll wait until next weekend to finally open the outdoor pools. Then I'll put a large part of the swim training in the morning. This has the great advantage that you can swim in a rested state and thus keep the quality of the programs up. As swimming is hardly stressful, it also has almost no effect on the subsequent training during the rest of the day. Unfortunately, it is often the case that club swimming almost always takes place in the evening. In this case, the previous training has a massive effect on the athlete's swimming performance, as he or she goes into the unit already very tired.
A nice start into the week!
