At this point I would like to introduce two projects that we are using the proceeds from Tri-Aktlon calendars support. We were on site for both projects and personally convinced ourselves that our donations are in good hands there.
Celia Kuch (Miss June) visited the facility in Hasselborn and ran the regular running unit right away and made the boys steam
Drug withdrawal therapy in Hasselborn through endurance sports
Frank Wagner has been working in Hasselborn for 16 years with clients who have opted for drug withdrawal. Frank is a social pedagogue with training in conversation and running therapy. His clients are sent to him by the UAE (Verein Arbeits- und Erziehungshilfe eV). Arbeits- und Erziehungshilfe eV (UAE)
The prerequisite for admission to Hasselborn is the desire and active will to get away from drugs. The age of those affected starts from 14 years and up. Frank has three children himself and is an active triathlete.
Most of his clients are Hartz IV recipients and have neither money for running clothes nor for any other sports equipment. Especially not the youngsters, of course. And that's exactly where our part comes in. With the donation money from the Tri-Aktlon project, we would contribute to the purchase of running clothing and running shoes.
Of course, there are often failures, but it is also not uncommon for therapy to help and each of us is probably familiar with the best-known example, Andreas Niederig. He also has good contacts in Hasselborn and has already provided support there.
Hubert Schwarz Foundation
On 11/29 were our athletes Heidi Jesberger, Christine Waitz and Julia Tripke and Michael Krell at the Hubert Schwarz Center in Ungerthal near Roth.
In addition to seminars, lectures and outdoor events, Hubert Schwarz is also involved in a few social projects active. We will support one of them with the proceeds from the calendars.
In the greater Nuremberg area, children from socially disadvantaged families are paid the club fee and thus enable them to take regular physical education within the local clubs. From our point of view, this is a project that deserves funding and we are happy to have made a small contribution to promoting youth and sport.
have a nice start to the weekend !!
