Swim training

A few days ago the time had come, the first swimming session since January of this year. The conditions were ideal, we were exactly three people in the 50m club pool in Nuremberg. I can't say for sure whether it was due to the outside temperature of 13 degrees or the 20 degree "warm" water.

After it took me 5 minutes to stand shoulder-deep in the water and at the same time turned blue and shivered from the cold, it started. And I have to say, it felt like it always did, the swimming technique was still there and on the contrary, I was thrilled how well everything still worked! The shoulder also held ... ok it still pinched now and then, but that is completely normal after such a long period of abstinence and permanent sparing of the joint.

After exactly 500 meters, I finished my first time again, but noticed how slowly the technology was sloppy and I was more avoiding the water pressure than looking for it with my hand. Almost running, I then covered the 400m to the shower and first turned the temperature to "super hot". Overall, I took a longer shower than a swim, but it doesn't matter, the beginning has been made 😉

Have a nice Weekend!
