Yesterday the time had come, the Challenge Roth was on. That means a state of emergency all weekend! Congratulations not only to my athletes, but also to everyone who took part. It was electrifying and at the same time extremely motivating to watch you from the track. For me, the weekend started on Friday afternoon with the Bike Imperium company relay. We were also able to just win the relay ranking. Yesterday morning then the swimming in the team Arndt Staffel and afterwards support and cheer on the track.
When I got out of the water, my watch showed 1:01 hours, about 2-3 minutes slower than the last few years. I'm satisfied with that for now, as I've practically never swum in the last nine months and, due to time constraints, have again incorporated more strength and rope training. As expected, my girlfriend pulled me off and was seven minutes faster out of the water. The sting is deep 😉
Now there are still 6 weeks to go to the Knappenmann and I will go to the outdoor swimming pool more often. Let's see if I can get something out of it over the past few weeks.
have a good start to the week!
