Who does not know that? The long run is coming up and the question arises, how do I best take something to drink with me? Especially in warmer temperatures, the mouth dries very quickly and dehydration leads to a drop in performance at some point. So far I've had a drinking belt on a few times, but it got on my nerves because it has the property of sliding back and forth on the hips. Another possibility is to run several laps and deposit a drinking bottle somewhere along the route. But put this on a branch, otherwise a dog will piss on it. The disadvantage is that it is boring to run the same lap umpteen times.
Now, by chance, I met my old schoolmate Maik again. In the end it turned out that he had developed a pair of running shorts for precisely this problem. Now, after countless tests, I have to say a really cool thing. The drinking bottles are attached directly to the running shorts with Velcro. My initial concerns that the bottles might fall off anyway, interfere with the running step or no longer hold up after washing my trousers a few times, have turned out to be unfounded. In the meantime I have it on for every long run, and at this point I also get the hang of advertising.
Just take a look, you won't be disappointed with the pants. A nice thing that makes a lot of things easier for me, and that should be supported. Here is the PS-Powerspeed-Homepage!
have a good start to the week!
