Hi Guys,
Today I would like to take the opportunity to introduce one of the guys from Lichtenfels a little closer.
Andreas Dreitz
In my eyes one of the upcoming talents in triathlon. At the weekend at the city triathlon in Erding, almost as expected, he took 4th place behind the professionals Michael Raelert, Michael Göhner and Andreas Realert. Here's the one Race report on his homepage.
Assuming that he really started the sport two years ago, he is a huge talent at "only" 21 years old. Especially when cycling he develops a pressure that I always get scared when he starts 😉 Together with his already well developed running skills (best time 10km: 33:12 and HM: 1:13:56), this results this is a dangerously quick combination for a future career in the medium and long distances!
talent
In addition, he has another quality that is rarely found in “talents”. Diligence and common sense. How often do you see “the eternal talent” again and again, but which never really makes a breakthrough. Such athletes are always aware of the fact that they have to do less than the others and still do better. A fatal cycle can arise and ultimately the chance is wasted at some point.
But if you see Andi training, you experience exactly the opposite. And by that I don't mean the scope (reason), but the intensity. He trains relatively little, but really hard and recovers smartly in between. Often the misconception prevails: “Yeah, the students, they can train all day!” In this case and for his current objective (short distance), that would be rather unsuitable. All you would then train would be to move long and “slowly”.
Attention sponsors!
In addition to his great athletic qualities, Andi also has a very calm and almost humble disposition.
This goes to all potential sponsors who are betting on upcoming stars and want to invest in the next generation: Andi still needs a smart triathlon machine, neo, running shoes and financial support! Anyone who would like to support him can also tell me, I will then make sure that this is also made public.
Rothsee Triathlon
If you want to see Andi in action, you should come to the Rothsee Triathlon on Sunday, where he will fight for the first places together with Dorian Wagner !!
skin in!

HI Michi,
tell them both that it would be really cool if you could immortalize yourself on their side - comment.
