This year, for the first time, I'll be wearing MP3 sunglasses to run in the final marathon. In contrast to other races, this is expressly allowed in Challenge races.
In the end, I run 99% of my units with music, I now assume that it might also help me to get a good split in competition. This is even possible over the long distance, because the running pace is relatively leisurely. On shorter stretches it is rather annoying after a while and distracting.
But that would be ok on Sunday, a distraction between the long and lonely kilometers is just the thing.
Now I just think about who has to go with everything:
Foo fighters
Billy Idol
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Pacifier
Queens of the Stoneage
Nine inch nails
Moby
Prodigy
further ideas??

Hello Michael,
first of all a compliment to your blog. Very entertaining and informative.
Let the Tobi Heinze Tricamp give you my playlist / folder with the "Blow away music". You will surely find what you are looking for. (Rise against, Motörhead, Gluecifer, Danko Jones, Machine Head, lots of fine things that make you legs ...). A nice rest tapering and of course a successful competition !!
Run like hell; Pink Floyd
People
Wolfmother
For me the Beatsteaks and Anberlin would still be missing ...
Hi!
I think in the beginning it should always be something quieter and in the end the more aggressive the better! Something for the end would be, for example, the destruction of Rammstein. It's actually not my music at all, but if you hear that during a hard running session, then the 2 is in front on the pulse monitor ;-). Good luck on sunday!
Sebastian
Sepultura, ACDC, Slayer
well, for example
Beatsteaks, and then a little punk rock (NOFX, ...) to hardcore (Ignite) and of course the good old rockers Metallica. But then you had to be careful not to overwind 🙂
I wish you all the best for Sunday. May the force be with you! But I'm not worried: Chuck Norris survives everything!
Best wishes,
Sven
Thank you guys!!
There are still really good things here. I also believe that it should be a little more aggressive in the end so that you wake up from the lethargy 😉 But the running distance is probably too short to accommodate everything.
Hello Michael,
also wanted to thank you for your blog. Great motivation for triathlon beginners and newbies. I can suggest "Rage against the machine" for your playlist.
I wish you a lot of energy and success for the competition.
Keep on moving.
Andreas
Highway to Hell !!!
... depending on the weather forecast:
A classic - rather calm - would be something for the beginning.
Bob Seger - Against the Wind

Hatebreed for the end is a little more aggressive.
If you run slower then I don't know either!
Hit it on Sunday!
many Greetings
Stephan
ok, I have the same opinion, at first a little calmer so that I don't run under a 4-way cut and then HARDCORE at the end !!
