News: Nuremberg old town race 2012

The old town race 2012 in Nuremberg will have a new highlight. For the first time there will be a triathlon that runs through the middle of the city center. This will even be the hook for the entire event. Together with the city and my organization team, we have initially planned the following events:

Program overview

8:00 a.m .: Triathlon - Swim and Run

10:00 a.m .: Run & Bike over 7.5 or 11 km
11:00 a.m .: Everyman's bike race over 35km
12:30 p.m .: individual time trial
2 p.m .: Triathlon team time trial and run
(starts with the time intervals from the morning)

5:00 p.m .: award ceremony and party!

So there is something for everyone, no matter if cyclist, triathlete or runner!

The triathlon is carried out as a team triathlon. In the first part of the competition in the morning, each team swims together, changes and then runs a run. The last member of the team is counted, which means that you work with your teammates of course.

In the second part, each team starts on the completely closed old town circuit with the respective time intervals from the morning and contests a team time trial. There is of course a 20m slipstream between the various teams. Then the team changes again and one last run is contested before the winning team crosses the finish line at the Nuremberg main market.

 

So far, the Triathlon Bayern League and the Triathlon Regionalliga for women and men have been included. And let's see who else, there might be more 😉

Every event in itself will be a great race, both the individual time trial, where I might be able to inspire one or the other super-fast athlete, as well as the cycling race over the demanding old town circuit and, last but not least, the Run & Bike!

We are now accepting registrations for the last three races mentioned. Just write me an email, I will transfer that to the official registration lists later (mkrell@gmx.de) Especially the places for the individual time trial and the bike race are limited!
