League use Ingolstadt

This time all reservists had to go on Sunday. Fortunately for me, this was the only Olympic distance of the entire season, and that one week after Roth. I would have preferred a sprint because it was over quickly.

After the evening before it was men’s night, I woke up on Sunday morning after only a few hours of sleep, with a dry mouth, severe headache and a great mood. This even improved when it was said at the start that everyone can swim in neoprene, except of course we, the league. Yeah, I was as happy as a schnitzel!

In the freezing cold water I went to my first comfortable competition of the season. After a “fantastic” swimming time of 25 minutes and covered in algae, I was absolutely amazed and not the first to get out of the water 😉 On the contrary, where did they all go? In the transition area, "the song of death" played from the jukeboxes and the wind drove bales of hay over the deserted and lonely paths 🙂

On the bike, surprisingly, things went quite well and I was able to look at the “apparently” very flat area around Ingolstadt. Not a single meter of altitude far and wide spoiled my crank frequency. The mood in the villages was good and by actively cheering on I was guaranteed to initiate more “la-ola” waves than all the groups in front of me 😉

After 1:02 hours out of the cycling shoes, a yellow card because the number was missing, and we went up to the running track. But then there were dead pants. On the completely graveled and somewhat boring Parkour, I then limited myself to coming home. After 41 minutes and 2:12 hours, I ran through the chic goal gate in the last third and was glad that it was behind me. Unfortunately, this time we finished last in the team ranking, but that's the way it is, where there is light, there is also shadow 😉 Our ASC girls fared much better there.

Andi was second in the normal race, behind Faris al-Sultan. The other guys from Nuremberg also finished in good positions. Lukas was fifth and I think Sebastian was eighth. My athlete Jan improved by more than six minutes to 2:22 hours in his second race. Congratulations to everyone again!

nice start to the week!
