The last week was also a bit busy in terms of training. Swimming is now more fun again. The first few times in the water felt like I had never swum in my life. At the moment I have absolutely no chance against Julia if she unwinds her 50s in 32 seconds, but that will slowly be back.
I usually start with 20-30min water sensation exercises, eg sculling, windshield wipers etc. I find a snorkel useful to be able to concentrate completely on the exercise without having to stop and take a breath. Then 8x 50m crawl with REV paddles and then I slowly feel the water again.
Finally, I swim 10-20x 50m crawl with a good feeling. In doing so, I concentrate on a clean technique, turn on my arm and take a powerful impression at the back. There is always enough break between the 50s, around 30 seconds, so that I can swim the next one in a relaxed state. Times do not yet play a role here.
I am currently doing a lot of strength training, simply because I feel like it.
Monday: Strength training 1.5 hours
Tuesday: TE1: Running: Basic 45min - TE2: Swimming: Technique 45min
Wednesday: TE1: Cycling: Basis with Tobi 1.5 hours - TE2: Athletics / strength test course in my brother's studio 1 hour (fully exhausting)
Thursday: Running: basis 50min
Friday: TE1: short strength training 30min - TE2: swimming: technique 45min
Saturday: Running: Basic / Technique 30min

wish you a good week!
