First of all, congratulations on the Bavarian title and thank you for your sessions in the training book that, as an “old” athlete at 41, brought me back to the top after a 15-year break.
But triathlon is not everything, I now had to experience in my son's class. There, after 2 years, a classmate's leukemia reappeared after 2 years and all chemotherapies were no longer effective.
The girl now needs a suitable bone marrow donor until the end of September (so far none has been found anywhere in the world), otherwise she will not survive autumn at the age of 10. That is why we are all here to address as many people as possible about the topic of “typing” and we will have typing in two weeks. We athletes in particular have the ideal prerequisites for this and therefore I would ask you if you could not integrate the attached flyer into your BLOG. The point here is not just to get a lot of people to typify them, but also to sensitize them to keep these appointments that take place everywhere. A set can also be ordered directly from DKMS with which typing can be carried out free of charge at home using a saliva sample. There are simply too many patients who cannot find a suitable donor.
It would be nice if this worked because I know that many athletes from different regions read your blog. So that you have no work, you can also publish my email.
