A thick blanket of snow has dominated the area around Nuremberg for days. Almost ideal conditions for cross-country skiing, just a few centimeters of fresh snow and we can open the first racing trail in the forest 😉
The weather report agrees that we will be properly covered with snow on the weekend, yay !! I've been on the road with Robert for the last two days, yesterday 2.5 hours and today 3 hours. With this forecast in the back, nothing stands in the way of our 5-hour cross-country tour on Saturday 🙂
How I feel after that, however, I have no idea. Already after the last two days everything hurts, especially my thighs, buttocks and shoulders!
We only have to work on our arrangement, while I'm leaving today at 9:30 am, Robert was still asleep. He called me at half past eleven, when do I want to start? At that time I was already standing in the middle of the forest and had to let the group of runners pass me while on the phone, which I had been running from my neck for half an hour (strange that they were very slow when I overtook them and then suddenly found second gear and constantly panting after me 😉
When I ran up to Robert again, he came up to me completely unexpectedly on his skating skis. With a bright red head I ran after him in a staccato step while he slid along comfortably at a basic pace !!
All in all, cross-country skiing is a great alternative training that you can use to replace cycling, as these muscles do the main part of the movement.
But you also benefit from it in the other two disciplines. Push your way around on the boards a few times and then go swimming. Through the active use of poles while cross-country skiing, you train your triceps to such an extent that you virtually “fly over the water”, I promise!
If you have classic skis (also known as shingle skis) and would like to join us in the next few days, just let us know: mkrell@gmx.de
Ski and toboggan good !!

hi Krelli!
Which trail do you go on?
Greetings Matze
Hi Matze,
So, the trail in Waller (near Alfeld) should be really good from tomorrow when it has snowed again. There is also a 30km lap!
Today I'm going to the zoo again (Nbg).
greetings
Michael
Hi Master Krelli 🙂
Where is Captain Chaos actually? Is he still alive?
All the best to you and very, very good luck for 2010 🙂
hmm ... good question. I think he has to do something for his studies again 😉
He is currently injured, still the aftermath of a bicycle accident a few months ago when a car stole the right of way and he landed on the hood.
But I send him my best regards!
Greetings & thanks

Greetings Micha,
that sounds great, but I would suggest you come back to the Erzgebirge this winter-
You can skate there in front of a dreamy winter backdrop…. * Grins
PS: By the way, I will start at the RothseeTria!
