krelli in danger - first cross-country ride of the season

This morning the time had come, the first cross exit. Get up half an hour before the meeting point, eat an apple for a moment, change clothes, inflate the tires, no bottle cages on it, whatever, cycle off 2 minutes before the meeting point like the stabbed. About 15 minutes late, all the other 12 people are already impatiently gathering their hooves, and off we go. And how!! No warming up, just up the ramps up the Schmausenbuck. All highly motivated and experienced crossers, and I in the middle, or rather behind, have a pulse rate of 200! Woke up half an hour ago, without breakfast, without a water bottle, hallelujah

As soon as it gets technical, everyone will depend on me, my only great moments come on the forest highway, on which I can catch up with the field again. Only my good local knowledge can save me from losing the group by sometimes simply abbreviating 😉

At some point I feel as if I have already driven 2 hours, look at the clock, it shows 42 minutes. It never ends. A short time later, however, the pace slowly decreases, the first ones seem to be tired. No wonder, 14-year-old kiddies also ride with 😉

In contrast to cyclists, as a triathlete I was of course familiar with the element of water, and both of us, my bike and I, arrived safe and dry on the other side.

After several runs, or, as here, river crossings, I get home after around 2 hours. It was fun, but I definitely have to practice, otherwise every further cross training turns into a GA2 unit!

Have a nice Weekend!
