Back-breaking job in Tenerife

so, now all pictures should be able to be enlarged!

Hi Guys,

After three days of shooting photos, Bennie and I arrived back from Tenerife late in the evening. Even if nobody believes me here anyway, it was sometimes really stressful to drive back and forth all day looking for the best motifs. After hours of marathon events, all the pictures for our upcoming book were finally in the can, which surprised us because of the sheer mass of motifs at the beginning!

In addition to numerous bike pictures, we were also in the hottest 50m outdoor pool I've seen so far, taking running and swimming pictures on the beach. In addition, there were recordings of massages, sauna and cold applications. Ultimately, a wide variety of motifs on the topics of relaxation, rest days, etc ... (see above)

The team consisted of Frank, who took really great pictures, some models (like Melina and Michael) and of course Bennie and me 😉

Here are a few impressions:

just before jumping into the ice-cold 27 degree pool 😉

The Finnish youth squad was in front of us, I tell you, the girls had shoulders twice as wide as I did !!! ... hmm, they swam a little faster too (but only a little, about 20 seconds at 100 meters 😉
Frank takes pictures underwater as we both slide over it

When swimming, watch out for the great panorama!

I'm sitting in the front of the pool !!! ... if you can only concentrate on the ocean view behind me 😉
On Wednesday we had a few hours off and could at least drive half the way up to Teide and then walk along the promenade before we had to go back to the airport in the afternoon.

So the three days were really fun 🙂

Tomorrow we will train again !!

skin in!

  1. Terve Krelli,
that all sounds exciting ... I especially liked the part with the Finnish youth squad. Were there - after the girls were out of the pool - ice cubes in the pool; o)?!
I am looking forward to your book!

    Greetings from Finland, Jan

  2. Hi Jan,

yes, now that you say it, I was wondering why it was suddenly so cold ... haha

No, seriously, as fast as they swam, they almost brought the pool to a boil. Except on lane 7, there we were 😉

  3. Hello dear community, me again - from Finland. In Germany we just have to get our foreign minister to take part in an Ironman at sub 10:30 am (* hahaha *), then our youth teams swim at least as fast as the Finns 🙂
It's unbelievable how Alex Stubb's participation has advanced triathlon here in Finland!

    Heippa, Janne
