If you are really tired and think that you absolutely need a day of relief the next day, but it is not yet an option because, for example, it is the weekend. In that case, just try in the evening a lot to eat a mix of protein 1/3 and carbohydrates 2/3. The former improves muscle regeneration and the latter replenishes the empty stores. In most cases things will be much better the next day.
