Until yesterday the best weather ... and today it has been raining for hours! I will now dare to go out anyway and play leisurely through the forest. With the right music, it'll be like a vacation.
Ironman Hawaii broadcast
Speaking of which, as you know, the fastest in our sport duel each year in Hawaii. A place that 99.9% people associate only with vacation. That it can get really exhausting, thanks to the Hessischer Rundfunk, you can watch it live on TV on October 10th from 00:20! The transmission continues until 05:00.
To all who do not receive an hr, YOU MUST BE STRONG NOW !! (Although ... I'm sure you can get it over the Internet) To the rest of you, let go of your sleep and then go straight for your long lap. Believe me, there is such a high level of motivation that you just fly past the early morning dog walkers and the returning disco people.
For this reason, I always plan the toughest running unit of the week immediately after the ITU World Cup races are broadcast 😉
does Michael Raelert start?
I also heard that Michael Raelert, the younger brother of Andreas Realert, who was third in Hawaii last year, is also registered with the starting number 68 for the race on October 10th on the Big Island. Could it be that he is making his long distance debut a year earlier than planned and supporting his brother in the race?
Question after question, but now I'll run first 🙂
Have a nice Weekend!

Whow! Right! It's starting number 68, but at least Michi is on the starting list on ironman.com ...
you are of course right, thanks for the correction!
But how is that supposed to work? Did Michael qualify for Hawaii straight away by winning the 70.3, or how?

Jan
Hi Jan,
yes, Michael qualified with his placement (1st) at the IM 70.3 Florida last year. But I think it only worked for professionals 😉
Ah, I got it.
Then I'm curious what will happen on October 9th. gives.
