Last Sunday was probably one of the hottest days in a long time. Over 35 degrees on the racetrack made life difficult for all participants. My athletes fought their way through the heat battle and two of you, Joachim Menz and Markus Gärtner, even qualified for Hawaii. Our strategy, namely to run 10-15sec / km slower than originally planned, paid off. Especially since about 1/3 of all athletes unfortunately ended the race prematurely.
