Hawaii night

What a thriller I had to watch yesterday !! I suffered with Andreas Raelert and at the same time I had to pay tribute to the winner Chris McCormack, he was the mentally stronger athlete in yesterday's situation and just an old fox when it comes to such tactical games. Even if this means that McCormack runs forward to the last refreshment points and collects the food, so that nothing is left for Raelert (you can't blame the food helpers, they stand there voluntarily and switch so quickly none of which then) and attracts just at the moment, knowing that Raelert has to go along and thus continues to run without food, which of course takes revenge at some point later.

The times yesterday were also impressive, making the competition one of the faster Ironman in Hawaii. Of course, I could only guess from the TV, but it seemed a bit cloudy towards the run, a blessing for all participants! However, Luc van Lierde's record time of 8:04 hours in 1996 was not endangered.

Now I just have to train today, I'm so motivated right now 🙂
