In Nuremberg (Reichelsdorf) there is a traditional cycling track. Unfortunately, I have to say, I only managed to take part in a race like this for the first time yesterday. A really cool event.
It all started with the juniors, then with a track bike race, the final of the Cycling Shower Cup. The whole time the race is driven to the limit and every couple of laps points or cash bonuses are awarded in a sprint, which makes for an exciting race. Due to the high speed of 45-55km / h, a fair amount of distance is covered in half an hour. The track bikes have one characteristic here, namely there is only one gear and no brake. This means that you have to pedal constantly, there is no idling, as is the case with conventional racing bikes.
As is certainly 63 (!) Up front, yes, there really is. What is on the back depends on it, but min. 13 or smaller. Once someone told me inside the 6 day race in Stuttgart.
This means that 200 runes can be around pretty quickly on the wooden track!
