Hello everybody,
my last week here in Nuremberg has begun. After that I'm already on the plane to Hawaii! I'm not really looking forward to the actual flight, but all the more about the time that follows 🙂 The best thing about the outbound flight is the fact that we get on at 7 a.m. in Nuremberg and get off at 8 p.m. on the same day in Kona. If you leave out the time difference of 12 hours, just a short hop through the air 🙂
Just in time for the lovely last weekend here, my tendinitis is pinching again. The cortisone decreases again after about 8-9 days. Now I hope that I can come over the weekend with a few painkillers and continue to train halfway. My last long bike session was almost 4 weeks ago, after which I was only on the road for 2-3 hours per trip. More was not possible with regard to my inflammation. After all, I don't want to make myself a sports disabled person, you have to look at the whole thing more soberly - health comes first.
I think that I still have a lot of training in my body from the last few weeks and months. It will be enough for a nice finish, so I don't worry as much. But in what time ???
But what I know for sure is that I will recover completely afterwards. I will not skip any party and no computer game will be on my shelf without being gambled! I'll just get up from my sofa to eat and let winter come ...
I've been training since September last year, only taking a 2 week break after my Ironman. That apparently takes its toll. In addition to my injury, my motivation also suffers a lot. I just don't feel like training anymore and would like to be at the start line tomorrow and get it over with ...
But it doesn't help anything, as is well known, nothing doesn't come and that's why I will get through the remaining training days ... :)))
By the way, I've uploaded a new motivational video, THE BAD VIDEO: Mark Allen vs. Dave Scott -> the video is also longer on youtube (9 parts), very cool!
Many greetings
