Road to Kona is new in the spomedis book series. It's amazingly thick, but that didn't stop me from reading it. Highly recommended for everyone who combines triathlon with the Ironman in Hawaii. From the beginning of the race at the end of the eighties until today, the story of the race and its temporary main protagonists are presented. Everyone tells their own story and presents their favorite training units. An all-round successful book garnished with motivating pictures.
If you prefer something more tangible, I recommend the book by Chris McCormack: I'm here to win. Also published by spomedis. Some may not always like what he writes, including me, but he's a unique character who doesn't mince his words. The book even shows his complete training plans for Ironman preparation. Highly recommended!!
