Hi Guys,

Today a charity run for the victims of Haiti took place at the Rothsee in arctic conditions. I had promised beforehand that I would put an extra euro in the donation box for everyone who is in front of me at the end.

Well, first of all you have to say that the girls and boys from the La Carrera Triteam from Hilpoltstein did a great job and were able to drum up almost 180 runners within just six days. Most of them donated more than just the € 2 entry fee, of course, and some more than I put in the cash register at the end. I went to the start together with Iwan and because of the large number of participants I felt a bit queasy ...

I tried to record the run on video, my first attempt of this kind, so forgive some blunders and the abrupt end 😉 In the end there were 23 runners or € 27 (including entry fee + 2 pieces of cake) in front of me are through the goal. Overall, the run probably raised over € 1,500, not bad for the short preparation time!

Umm, maybe I should have shaved this morning and put on some fancy clothes ... well, next time then 😉
