Locked out!

Yesterday the time had come, I just came home from work, already fully stressed because I wanted to cycle with Iwan at 5 p.m. I unlocked the door, grabbed the post office key, ran back into the hallway to briefly shake out the mailbox ... and hey presto, the apartment door closed gently with a soft "click".
Of course, my door key was still there, Sch ... !!! What to do? My girlfriend would not come back until the evening and cancel the planned unit because of this ... probably not! The alternative would have been to sit at the door for hours.
Ivan in full autumn gear

I ran to Ivan to pick him up for a bike ride as agreed, he looked at me in astonishment, maybe it was because I was still wearing my clothes from work. "Ivan, I need a bike and clothes, and we have to hurry because I have to swim at 7:15 pm."

We quickly "stole" the trekking bike from his roommate and I also got a shirt and jacket, only I had to leave my suit pants on. In this funny outfit we rode, he with a racing bike and I armed with a huge trekking bike (his roommate is really big), our little 1.5 hour tour, during which I worked up a sweat this time, just to stick with him. Otherwise it's always the other way around 😉 Yes, I even had the feeling that Iwan was enjoying every sigh of effort that I gave from time to time !!

At the latest when we drove through a construction site on the way back, I decided that it was time to give my pants to the dry cleaner again, so I couldn't trust myself to go back to work.

As students are like, there was of course nothing to eat in the house afterwards, but plenty of liquid food. With a glass of grapefruit juice (which they usually only serve as a cocktail side dish) and a duplo, I “strengthened” myself for the subsequent swimming training 🙂 Do I have to mention that poor Ivan also had to help me out with swimming trunks and swimming goggles? Towards evening I arrived home completely starved and was overjoyed to find that the light was on inside and that I could finally get back into the apartment and get out of my clothes. There was even something warm to eat 🙂

greetings
