Sorry that I was a bit sparing with news the last few days, but due to the organization of the old town race there was a lot going on!
You can still register for Run & Bike online. Late registrations are still possible on Saturday and Sunday. More than 100 run & bikers will take to the track again, many amateur athletes, mixed teams, father-son couples, but also some really fast runners from Fürth and Regensburg. For more information and registration, click in the box on the right.
On Sunday morning at 8 a.m., the triathletes of the Bayernliga, Regionalliga women and men and the 2nd Bundesliga start theirs Team competition with a swim (800m) and run (3.6km) at Bayern 07 Bad am Whörder See. To all triathlon enthusiasts, support the local teams, be there and cheer! In a team competition, each team starts in a team, ie there are only scores if everyone stays together. The team time trial in the afternoon is especially good!
The teams of TSV Altenfurt (Nuremberg), TV48 Erlangen, TV Fürth 1860, HDI SC Roth and Tricamp Team SSV Forchheim come from the region. A total of almost 250 of the best national triathletes will be there. Your chance caliber, like Andreas Dreitz, Swen Sundberg, Sebastian Neef, Anne Hauck, Bernd Einhhorn, Bernd Hagen, Frank Neumann etc., who actually win almost every triathlon in which they start, right up close together in the team experience!
From 11:45 a.m., the second part of the competition will take you through the Altstadrunde (bike (24km team time trial) and run (2.5km)) to determine the overall winner on the main market. The race on Sunday is also the final of this year's triathlon season for the teams from the Bayern and Regional League, ie it is about advancement for some of the teams. So it's going to be really exciting !!
In addition, there is also a cool supporting program this year, in which all current fun sports are represented. Again directly on the main market. Visit us, we look forward to strong support! Finally, at 3 p.m., the elite cycling race over 80km begins, with multiple Olympic champions on the track, German champions on the road and drivers of the national pro teams.
sunny greetings
