Thorsten in Wisconsin ... and the other weekend events

++++ update ++++

Wisconsin
next to the chancellor duel yesterday, I kept the ticker running from Wisconsin:
Thorsten came in 17th overall, with a time of 9:33 he was second in his age group and easily qualified for Hawaii. At this point my congratulations and all hats off !!!!!

His wife Denise also started and that without letting me know beforehand! I was amazed when I suddenly appeared in the ticker. For the first time such an amazing route, also here my fullest respect!

Cross-triathlon
Steffen, Florian and I survived yesterday's cross-triathlon, that's for sure. A really cool event that certainly deserved more starters. However, our prices are higher ... hehe
And that even though, according to the "official" timekeeping, I was 8 out of 11 participants. More on that later, I'll write a blog about it on tri-mag 😉

nice monday!

Hello Ha,

Ironman Wisconsin
with my buddy Thorsten (Eckert) on Sunday the Ironman Wisconsin is about the Hawaii qualification for next year! Besides himself, I don't know who should stand in his way. He has been training really well the last time and is at Challenge Roth in July with a bombshell time of 8:39 hours. arrived.

Thorsten starts in the age group 30 and the race starts around noon our time on Sunday. So keep your fingers crossed for him !!! For now, I'm holding back with prognoses, he doesn't like it that much 🙂
If you want to wish him luck and success, just go here and write a comment on his page: http://www.thorsten-eckert.blogspot.com/ He is happy there !! ... and says a nice greeting from me 🙂

ITU Finals Gold Coast
Don't forget, tomorrow morning (Saturday) at 6:30 am, ZDF will broadcast the men's final live from Australia's Gold Coast !! A summary will be available later from 10 p.m. in the ZDF sports studio on TV.

Crosstriathlon digging hole
So ... and after these events to warm up, the grand finale will take place on Sunday at the Baggerloch Crosstriathlon somewhere in the pampas near Roth. There Steffen, Florian and I will do the death-defying parkour across the sand pit on Sunday morning. If you still want to take part or watch, the exact information can be found two posts below 😉

Have a nice Weekend!
