Today one thing is clear to me: triathletes can not at the same time Exercise, go partying all weekend, only sleep 5 hours at a time and still keep a diet! 😉
On Friday afternoon I had been walking a little longer for a long time and did the first long run since the “Challenge Roth” in July. I wanted to explore the forest (Tiergarten / Nuremberg) right away in order to find a suitable route for the "1. Nuremberg Bike & Run" in the Spring 2010 to find. I have to say right away that I succeeded, it will be one really cool route !!
The competition is again based on the principle that two runners share a mountain bike (and this time it really takes “a Mountainbike “😉 and take turns cycling (or resting) and the second teammate runs. More about that soon ...
After I had finished my run and in the evening after swimming training without any great food, I went straight to town to meet friends in the bar and then move around the houses, Saturday was almost inevitable ...
After 5 hours of sleep I rode a little mountain bike tour with Robert, at -2 degrees we bravely cycled through the meadows, forests and floodplains. During a short detour up the Moritzberg, we found the Christmas market there already open (at 11 a.m. !! in the morning). After we were freezing cold, we first drank some mulled wine. That this was of the particularly strong variety, I realized after 20m descent at the latest. With a monkey tooth I happily shot back down the mountain, at the bottom I had to wait 5 minutes for Robert 😉
But that should change soon, after another 30 minutes it ran cold down my back and my legs became heavy ... ohaa. Robert really wanted to ride his famous “shortcuts” and our leisurely 2-hour tour had turned into a 4-hour “tortour”. At lesson 3 I asked Robert about his supplies (I hadn't packed anything), he still had a piece of candy left! Great, that would be something else, 20km away from home I got into the worst hunger streak of my life! It was Robert who had to wait for me all the time, in the end he could have walked one-legged next to me (thanks for not doing it, that would have been too much;).
Thirty minutes before the apartment I couldn't say anything. When Robert finally turned home, I was already afraid of not being able to make the last 3 kilometers to the front door on my own. I already saw the headlines in front of me the next day: "Half-starved and almost frozen cyclist found at half past twelve at the Whörder See"
When I was at home and after 5 minutes of trying it was finally able to turn the key (my fingers felt a bit fresh and I hadn't felt anything for a long time;), I fell over everything that was in the apartment ... and that wasn't much. So I immediately drank a grape juice pack on Ex (the main thing is sugar) and emptied all the boxes on my Christmas calendar !!
Then I had to go to sleep first. I only woke up again when Thorsten and Denise rang the bell and wanted to take me to the club's Christmas party. There they got the best things ever ... warm dishes !!! After an honest “3 Schäuferla”, a loo, a quarter of salmon and lots of tiramisu, I felt like the pug in the oat straw ... what a treat!
Then I went to the park cafe with my club colleagues, where I drank Thorsten under the table ... haha ... at least it seemed as if I was still the clearest. After another 5 hours of sleep, it went on to pair training, 2.5 hours. Racing bike with Ivan including a final run. Of course, I didn't feel like doing the run at all, so I shortened the duration to 30 minutes and then full throttle!
After my traditional evening sauna on Sunday, I was already in bed at 9 p.m. and I realized that I was not at the same time Exercise, go partying all weekend, only sleep 5 hours at a time and still be on a diet! 😉
Now the serious training has to start again!
skin in!

But you did quite well on Saturday evening :-).
I wouldn't have wanted to make a paddock on Sunday

I would skip the diet - then the rest will work too!
