I've just come from the dealership, the TÜV and all the rest of the stuff was my turn again.
When I got the bill, I first had to swallow: almost 600 € !! And that for my Renault Laguna Printe, which has worked flawlessly so far. Funny what mechanics can find for broken parts?
Unfortunately, since I have no idea about cars, they can actually tell me the story of the horse and I have no way of checking it. So this time it was the nasty steering rods or something like that that had to be replaced. And that for Christmas!
If, a few years ago, someone had wanted to take 1,200 DM from me for such an examination and the resulting repairs, I would have handled it as one would have done with muggers in the past, blowing a smoking gun into the desert dust. I can barely stop myself ...
That's it with the new rear wheel for next season, so my old disc will have to do it for another year 😉
The whole thing is particularly annoying because, like many other triathletes, I don't care about cars at all. In the end, I don't care what I ride around as long as my bike fits. I actually only drive my car to the swimming pool in the evening and for occasional trips. I would even take a Trabant if it weren't for the environmental factor ... woahh am I mad at the bill !! Especially since I don't have any of it, I would have bought a training bike for the money or something, I would have something of it, but so ...
But nothing helps, now I'm going to run first to reduce the anger. In a few hours all the relatives will come to give presents, by then I'll be in a better mood.
Merry Christmas to everyone and enjoy the days off !!

PS: if you are like me and you eat sweets all day, don't worry. It doesn't depend on the few days, from 01/01/2010 things really get going 😉
where were you with your box?
Not that it happens to me the same way. Hehe
Sorry, but you are right. Possibly clarify beforehand what needs to be done and, above all, what needs to be done.

was at home near Chemnitz, you probably won't come to the workshop anyway 😉
Next time I would do the TÜV beforehand, get a list of everything that it complains about, specifically only repair that and request a follow-up examination (costs only 5 €).
This is probably the cheapest way to drive.
