last week + event preview

Hello winter bunnies,

last week was “cross-country skiing week” for me. After 12 hours of cross-country skiing, EVERYTHING hurts today! Muscles ache that I didn't even know existed.
And then on Sunday the unbelievable; Robert was exhausted and couldn't keep up. That I was allowed to experience that again !! 😉 That never normally happens to him, 30 years of triathlon leave their "basic traces" behind.

And do you also know how I did it? I guided him into the deep snow with his skating skis ... after an hour he could hardly get his skis out to swing.

Cross-country weekend:
From February 12-14 we all go to Bad Reichenhall to the pension of Stefan Holzner (2-time Ironman Germany winner) for cross-country skiing. My trainer Bennie Lindberg is also involved and, as a native of Finland, is used to handling the boards.
Somehow they had to flee from the polar bears earlier 😉
There is something for every performance class, and we go both classic and skating.

Coburg winter running series:
Since running competitions are rather rare in the next few weeks, here is an opportunity for those who still run enthusiastically through 5m high snow 😉
The first run of the 5th winter run series 2010 will start on January 16, 2010. The series, consisting of three consecutive runs every 4 weeks, is now taking place for the fifth time in Weidach near Coburg.
If in doubt, ask the organizer beforehand whether you need spikes!

Rothsee Triathlon on June 27th.
I don't want to stir up panic and I also get sick of the fact that many races are booked out faster and faster, but the registrations for the Rothsee Triathlon have been since 01.01. open and almost 500 athletes have already entered the starting lists.
This time the organizers have also learned something and the race will be carried out far enough (3 weeks) from Challenge Roth. (Or was that just a coincidence? 😉
