So, after my shoulder surgery on Monday, I'm sitting here in my sick bed, enjoying myself and becoming a "football expert" by watching all three World Cup games every day 😉
According to the doctor's report, the operation went smoothly and without complications. At first I was a bit nervous when I was rolled into the surgery as the second, with my bed, on Monday morning. Dressed in fancy underpants, trombosis stockings and a nightgown with a floral pattern, I waited another hour when suddenly an emergency intervened. In the end, doctors in green coats and headgear gave me an anesthetic injection. I couldn't even count to three and I was gone. Shortly after one I came to in the “lying room” and could only say that the first game would start at 1.30 p.m. The nurses, apparently football fans, then took me straight back to my room, where I could turn on the right channel before I dozed off immediately and didn't wake up again until half-time 😉
So, now I'll enjoy it first and relax for a few more hours 🙂
In a few weeks I should be able to slowly start training again ...

Then you could have left the compression stockings on straight away for the operation: Motto: “Nope, sister, let me have my own with you.” 😉
Get well.

Hi Michael,
I wish you a quick recovery and that you will soon be back at the start. Thank you for your congratulations on Kulmbach. A week later in Moritzburg went really well again on the OD.
Many greetings from home!

Hi Krelli,
I can empathize with it - in 2006 I experienced the summer fairy tale for 4 weeks in the hospital after a bike accident. I wish you that the games will get even better (2006 was great, 2010 is still missing spice) and that you will soon get well again. You are a really good writer and also a great organizer, but then I prefer to see you with your starting number.
Best regards
Stefan
