Flow channel - video recordings

one of our swimmers in the T3 lazy river

After a coupling session in the morning, we went back to the swimming area after the afternoon nap. There we warmed up with a short unit, including a few sprints, and were let into the really cool flow channel. The actual swim in the canal does not take too long, thanks to the continuous change in resistance, it usually does not take long before the swimmer swims under full load.

Video recordings are made from three different perspectives. Frontal, side and from below. When I went into the pool I was quickly asked what my 100m best time would be ... mmhh, what are you doing now, indicate the right one or estimate it optimistically. I decided on the interim solution, 1:10 / 100m! After a few seconds of comfortable paddling, it started all of a sudden and I fought for bare survival or to continue swimming at the level of the black line on the pelvic floor 😉 At some point, it felt like 5 minutes, I had to do everything with all my strength and with the help of my legs give. Still, I lost inch by inch of ground until I finally couldn't even get my arms out of the water. Once released, I stuck to the rear edge of the pool like a magnetic board, pressed flat by the current pressure 😉

I will soon put the video online, anyone who knows swimming is welcome to correct me 🙂 It was definitely fun !!!

sunny greetings
