10km run Marienbergpark Nuremberg

Fashion-wise right at the front again!

After a short bike tour in the morning, I went to the start of the 10km run in Marienbergpark Nuremberg at 3pm. Quasi a must for me, because I live only 5 minutes away from the start 😉

We briefly walked in, spotted the usual suspects again, and off we went. The conditions were very nice because the sun was finally shining strong again. The course is divided over three laps, apart from a small ascent, it is relatively flat, but also quite susceptible to wind due to the open areas. Which of course applies to everyone 🙂

With my time of 36:37 and 9th place, I am satisfied for today, even if I was a little weaker towards the end. All in all, a nice competition that can really be recommended. Thumbs up!!

My club colleague Thomas Hoffmann won with 33:08. Since I didn't see him at the destination, (he was probably already cold from waiting for me 🙂 Congratulations again at this point! 🙂
