little tip for running on the long distance!

 

... last little tip. At least that's how I always do it.
When running, I walk 10 meters at each refreshment station. Why?

1. You drink and eat better before you spill half or choke on it. Well-executed diet is the most important thing. Drink two cups regularly, not just one. If you look at the professionals at the refreshment stations, they pour the stuff down extremely quickly so that they can drink 2-3 cups during the station. For us, however, it is easier if we slow down the pace for a moment or walk, then you can also manage your two cups. Better to pee than hunger!

2. You mentally "reward" yourself with this mini break for the run section you have just completed and then you run the first 500m much more relaxed (you have probably already noticed in the short breaks during the long run when you started running again)

3. You lose almost nothing, a maximum of 5 seconds per station, as it is often enough to trot easily

4. If you do it from the beginning, it will not be difficult to start walking again and again.
