Mark Allen, the six-time Ironman Hawaii winner, is on May 17th. for a talk in town. Ok, the occasion is a bit unusual, but see for yourself. Actually, it doesn't really matter what he says ... that's MARK ALLEN. You know how I mean it 😉

I already had the pleasure of meeting him once, shortly before the Ironman South Africa. My brother's hat was blown off his head while jogging, and who will catch it? Mark Allen with a surfboard, who then ran after my brother and gave them back to him. Then he asked us for the way and wished us all the best for the upcoming race and shook hands with us. Well, it didn't bring luck, it was the only race I ever gave up prematurely.
