- 17 degrees…

... it was last night when we drove home! This also happens to be the official temperature up to which cross-country skiing competitions may be held. Also, I was trying to remember when gasoline freezes? It was somewhere in the high twenties. Diesel does not freeze until later.

In the last few days we were mostly cross-country skiing around noon for 2-3 hours and swimming for another half or three quarters of an hour in the evening, a daily routine that one could get used to. Somehow it always means that we drive easily, but then it does not correspond to reality.

I remember Wednesday when I was with Andi, Silvester and Phil for over 2 hours. was skating on the Friedrichshöhe. On the first 4km !! Increase after 15 minutes I already had a pulse of 180 and 2 minutes later the lactate shot into my shoulder muscles! Poor Phil was after more than 2 hours. completely finished with the world, this time he had to take over the red lantern, otherwise I would have had to do it, because I too was flat like a flounder. In the end Andi drove back the way again because we were afraid that Phil was lying on the edge of the piste, completely exhausted, and was snowing. Fortunately, however, that was not the case, on the contrary, he never complained about the speed, he just clenched his teeth and kept walking! Back at the car he felt better after 20 gingerbread cookies and his face got halfway color again.

so, have to go again 🙂
Happy New Year!!!
